I don’t think the cx5 and mazda 6 share the same engine? The cx5 has the 2.0 liter with 155 hp and the Mazda 6 has a 2.5 liter withn 186 hp.
He didn’t exactly say he liked it. But this guy is usually so critical on reviews, I take the absence of negative comments means he liked it. Nice to have another choice for good midsize sedan.

The 2014 CX-5 is getting an optional 2.5L engine for Touring and Grand Touring trims.
If I want a family car I’ll buy a Camry or accord. Don’t care how the other cars look or perform.

I read somewhere that for 2013 or 2014 models of the cx-5 it will get the 2.5 engine standard for US models, because of under powered complaints of the 2.0
